Marathon Update Release July 13, 2023¶
Highlights¶
Custom Events created by Users¶
- Data signatures relevant to model development use cases can now be highlighted directly by users on time series data in Marathon from either the Asset or Compare views. Saved User Events are accessible via the Events tab.
- This feature is restricted to Marathon users in an organization's Model Validation group, access should be requested from a Marathon Administrator.
- Included as supplemental to these release notes is a step by step introductory guide to using this feature.
Investigation Notification Enhancements¶
- The email notifications generated for Investigations can be tailored to distribute to more granular user lists either grouped by the type of investigation generated or by the asset location on which an investigation is generated. This avoids users receiving notifications for assets and investigations which are not relevant for them.
Reports¶
- Downloaded reports now include the asset summary tables in addition to the performance plots.
- Downloaded reports can optionally include the organization's logo in addition to the Arundo logo.
Fixes¶
- Text searches for e.g. Assets or Events can now be cleared and reset with the "X" button to the right of the search bar.
- Extended periods with no data on report performance plots are no longer shown as connected by the plot line.
- More flexibility is provided for the position of geolocation data in the asset hierarchy with respect to the assets whose events are required to show map information.
Known Issues¶
-
Event filtering is not behaving as expected in the following cases:
- Before and After date filters follow OR logic instead of expected AND logic.
- After date filter includes Events for the date selected.
- Thumbs Up and Your Comment filters may not always return the expected results.
-
The Return to Report button will navigate back to the first page of the report list rather than the page the user accessed the report from.
-
Automatic minutely background refresh of the application can cause a user to be unexpectedly taken back to page one of a list of e.g. Reports or Events.
-
When accessing a maintenance or failure event detail from a hairline on the asset view, users with access to user highlighted events will see a clash between the two right panel components.
-
Accessing Marathon after a user access token has expired (typically more than 24 hours since last access) will display several error pop-ups when navigating the user back to the login screen.
-
On application load or browser refresh Events can sometimes take at least one minute to become visible in the application.
-
Generating a comparison from Asset Search or drag and drop will produce a data loading error if that action causes the application to attempt to render approximately 130 or more time-series charts simultaneously.
